My stay at Singa Lodge was quite the experience. The ambiance was beautifully styled with a mix of Eastern and African decor, and I really enjoyed the spacious room and the generous breakfast. However, I did encounter some issues with the first room's hot water and the amenities in the second room were lacking.

Rooms
7.0
The room was vast and open plan, featuring two extra large beds and a lovely lounge area. However, the first room had no hot water and the second room didn't have the DStv package I expected or a microwave.
Service

The staff were incredibly welcoming and friendly. Personal touches like a welcome letter and a gourmet cheese platter really stood out to me.
Location

Singa Lodge is perfectly located just around the corner from the amazing blue flag beaches of Port Elizabeth. The serene setting with gardens and a koi pond really enhanced my stay.

Breakfast was a highlight for me, with a great variety of cheeses, fruits, and the standout creamy scrambled eggs with bacon on potato rosti which was simply delicious.
Facilities

There are fantastic facilities including a sports bar and a lovely garden area, though I wish the room had received better maintenance as I encountered a few technical issues.

My stay at Singa Lodge was a mixed bag. The location is serene, nestled in a beautiful setting surrounded by greenery, and the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. However, I encountered a couple of issues during my stay, including a few maintenance problems in my room and some parking difficulties. Overall, while the atmosphere was lovely, there are certainly areas that need improvement. 🌿😊

My stay at Singa Lodge was a mixed experience. While I appreciated the lovely decor and friendly staff, the overall condition of the lodge left much to be desired. The rooms seemed tired, and the lack of dining options was disappointing, especially compared to other places I've stayed. Unfortunately, I can't fully recommend it based on my experience.

I was disappointed to find there was no in-house dining, despite the website featuring gourmet dinner menus. I had to rely on Uber Eats for meals.

My stay at Singa Lodge was a mixed bag. The natural setting was beautiful, giving a fairy-tale vibe with green pathways, but I faced significant issues during my stay that affected my experience. The staff were friendly and helpful, but the room quality was disappointing, with damp sheets and a dirty pool, diminishing the overall enjoyment.

Rooms
5.0
The room I stayed in did not meet the standard I expected. The sheets smelled damp, and there was no hair dryer provided. I felt that the room category was not what I paid for, but I chose not to push it further during my stay.

I particularly enjoyed the freshly baked croissants at breakfast; they were fluffy and buttery. Unfortunately, the service could have been quicker and smoother during mealtimes.
Facilities

The overall facilities seemed a bit tired, especially the pool area, which looked dirty. The honor bar provided a nice touch for late-night drinks.

I had mixed feelings about my stay at Singa Lodge. The setting was beautiful, nestled among greenery and fish ponds, giving a fairytale vibe. However, I encountered several issues with the room, including maintenance problems like a leaking tap and poor lighting, which really affected my experience. All in all, there's great potential here, but the place definitely needs some work.

The room had a lovely view, but it was let down by dim lighting and maintenance issues. The tap was dripping, and the cupboard doors were hard to open.
